Sabu Help believe that the world poor can build a better lives for themselves if only given the chance. The poor don't lack ability, they lack opportunities.

Sabu Help's philosophy is shown in the very simple passage from the bible: "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, or teach him how to fish and feed him for a lifetime."

Every year millions of people in the world go hungry and some die as a result of hunger and disease. This is not because they have made poor decisions or have not worked hard; rather it is due to the lack of opportunity and resources available to them. Sabu Help's goal is to provide opportunities and resources to these people so they may learn to help themselves and find better ways to produce food, earn an income, and raise healthy families.

Our idea is to assist the poor and underprivileged help themselves by offering them financial opportunities through micro lending; enabling them to create self-employment, and utilize idle time.

Our supporters are committed to helping the poor through the provision of financial and education to underprivileged rural people. We invite you to join us in opening our hearts and empowering impoverished people and the poor in other developing countries by giving them the gift of opportunity to fight poverty and embrace changes in their lives.

We hope that by providing monetary opportunities and training we will accomplish the following:

  • Clients will build assets and family income
  • Clients will improve their health, lifestyle and their children education
  • Clients will no longer suffer from hunger
  • Clients will build community resources
  • Clients will create self-employment and be self-reliance
  • Clients will educate themselves on matters affecting them and in their communities
